We currently have a new position for a Transport Compliance Managerto join our transport based in our Portlaoisedepot.
In this role, you will be working closely with the Transport Management team to maintain consistency and ensure compliance with operational standards.
In this role you will be: Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transport operations across the ROI Group.
Overseeing internal and external providers adherence to legislation and compliance standards.
Keeping up to date with future legislation and working with management team on solutions for future regulatory and industry changes.
Leading and monitoring transport compliance activities, driver processes, and KPI performance.
Building strong stakeholder relationships to support operational excellence.
Driving continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and sharing best practices.
Maintaining governance, reporting, and compliance with evolving legislation.
Embedding a culture of safety, compliance, and operational discipline.
What will help you to excel in this role: National or International Certificate of Professional Competence qualification in Transport Management.

Strong understanding of ROI transport legislation, road safety, and compliance standards.
Experience with transport operations, logistics, and fleet management practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
