About the Role
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of site operations, ensuring production and warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards within a food manufacturing environment.
This role serves as a key link between production, warehousing, health & safety, quality, and people management functions, ensuring teams, systems, and processes work together to achieve operational and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations Coordination
Coordinate daily production and warehouse activities to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
Monitor operational performance and address issues affecting efficiency, quality, safety, or delivery schedules.
Production Management
Assist in planning and coordinating daily and weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and operational capacity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and controlling costs.
Warehousing & Logistics
Liaise with logistics providers to ensure timely and compliant dispatch and delivery of products.
Monitor and maintain stock levels to support production demands and customer orders.
Health & Safety
Promote and maintain compliance with all health & safety legislation, policies, and site procedures.
Support a safe working environment through proactive monitoring and adherence to best practices.
Quality & Food Safety
Support food safety and quality systems, including audits, corrective actions, and document control.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and other relevant food safety standards.
HR & Administration
Maintain staff contracts, personnel records, and roster administration.
Support effective communication and coordination across teams.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience coordinating people and processes within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, or equivalent food safety standards.
Relevant qualification in operations, manufacturing, food production, or health & safety is desirable.
