OverviewLead Process Engineer to provide design leadership and engineering expertise for Life Science projects. Hybrid role based in Dublin or Cork.ResponsibilitiesLead the process design and engineering activities for large-scale life science projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.Manage multidisciplinary process design teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality oversight throughout project lifecycles.Collaborate closely with clients to understand project requirements, define scope, and deliver tailored process solutions.Oversee the development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment specifications, and process control strategies.Ensure integration of process systems with facility design, utilities, and automation.Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, contributing to successful project delivery.Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.Provide technical leadership during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases.Maintain strong communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.Required Experience & SkillsSufficient years of experience in chemical or process engineering, with a strong focus on facility and plant design within the life sciences sector.Proven track record of leading process design teams and delivering complex engineering projects.In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations, cleanroom design, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.Strong understanding of process equipment, utilities, and automation systems.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.Full right to work in Ireland is essential.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject Management and EngineeringIndustriesPharmaceutical Manufacturing and Biotechnology Research
