Their services include door-to-door and quay-to-quay shipping for all types of containerised cargo. They are seeking to hire a Sales Executive to support the growth of their Irish business. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the sales function for the Irish business and be skilled in managing and building client relationships with both existing and potential new business clients, conducting client visits and representing the business in a professional manner. The role reports to the Director of the Irish office and to the Sales Director at Head Office in The Netherlands. The role will primarily involve servicing and conducting visit with existing business customers, effectively and professionally managing client relationships to retain business and customer loyalty. In addition, you are responsible for conducting sales outreach campaigns and proactively actioning sales leads to develop new business opportunities. This includes providing quotations for service, negotiating rates and closing new business deals, ensuring yearly sales targets and growth objectives set out for the Irish office are met. You will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, visiting clients to promote the service, build client relationships and maintain customer loyalty. In addition, you will proactively manage sales leads, respond to requests for sales quotations and negotiating terms. Ideal Candidate: Minimum 3 years experience working in a professional B2B environment as an account manager or internal sales professional or have proven field sales experience. Passionate about sales Driven to achieve goals. Knowledge of shipping, logistics or within an allied service industry desirable. Must hold a full Irish or EU driving licence. Required Skills/Experience: Skilled in managing, maintaining and developing professional client relationships.
