This position involves delivering high-quality mental healthcare to older individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues in a community-oriented setting.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing exceptional care for patients with complex needs, including those with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
About the Role:
You will work closely with other teams and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive and high-quality mental health services for older people within a designated area.
As a leader, you will play a key role in teaching, managing, coaching, and engaging in the practice and education of medical students, staff, and allied health professionals as necessary.

Essential Criteria:
* Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council or eligibility for Specialist Registration.
* 5-10 years of relevant post-graduation experience.
* Possesses a detailed knowledge and understanding of Old Age Psychiatry.
