JOB DETAILSAs a core member of Ibec's Employer Relations Advocacy team, you will be responsible for the strategic execution of technical HR and Employment Law solutions to a diverse portfolio of industry leaders in our membership. This is a high-impact advocacy role designed for a professional with the commercial acumen to command complex negotiations and represent member interests before national third-party bodies. You will act as a lead advisor, navigating the intersection of Irish employment legislation and organisational strategy to drive robust business outcomes.The closing date for applications is the 27th of February 2026.About The RoleSubject Matter Expert - Employer Relations:Deliver high-levelexpertiseand specialist advice on a comprehensive range of IR/HR matters, including industrial disputes, redundancy, and complex disciplinary procedures.Lead Advocacy:Prepare robust written submissions and act as the lead representative for member companies before the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) and the Labour Court.Negotiation Strategy:Command union and company negotiations, ensuring outcomes align with member commercialobjectives.Regulatory Oversight:Review and audit member policies to ensure total compliance with statutory and legislative obligations.Strategic Interfacing:Maintainand expand high-level business partnerships with senior executives up to CEO level.Industry Leadership:Represent employer interests on external committees and contribute authoritative content toIbecpublications.Knowledge Transfer:Deliver training modules on Industrial Relations and Employment Legislation.Portfolio Management:Promote and support membership engagement initiatives to ensure impact and value throughmaximising member value and commercial resilience.NOTE: This list is not exhaustive but serves to reflect the nature of the duties included in the role. Given the nature of the organisation and the need to respond to members' needs on an ongoing basis, the role is subject to change over time.
