This is ahands-on, senior rolewith strong exposure tocloud security, IAM, scripting, and enterprise-scale infrastructure, sitting within the organisation'sCSIRT.This role would suit someone who enjoys engineering solutions, running POCs, and working closely with architecture and platform teams in a complex, regulated environment.The RoleEngineer and maintain an enterprise-class hybrid cloud infrastructureAct as a senior technical contributor within the IT Security teamParticipate in cyber security incident investigations as part of the internal CSIRTOwn and contribute to the technical and architectural security design, working closely with Security ArchitectsDesign, implement, and improve Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutionsRun and evaluate proofs of concept (POCs) for new security technologiesDevelop automation and scripts to support security configuration, audits, and assessmentsTroubleshoot security incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative controlsWork closely with a wide range of internal IT and platform teamsMaintain documentation, diagrams, and security standardsOperate within a structured enterprise change management and ticketing environmentTechnical Focus AreasCloud Security (AWS preferred)IAM (strong internal focus)Windows & Linux securityActive Directory & DNSGroup Policy, AD security, schema, OU design, replication, backup & restoreScripting & Automation (essential)PowerShell, Bash, or Python (must be able to build scripts, not just run commands)Familiarity with DevOps & IaC tools such as Terraform, Docker, AnsibleRequirements3+ years' experience in enterprise cloud security environments5+ years' experience across Windows and Linux infrastructureStrong understanding of Linux and Windows security principlesProven ability to work in large-scale, complex environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical decisionsComfortable working across multiple teams and prioritiesCertificationsSecurity+ (minimum requirement)Cloud security certifications (AWS / Azure) highly desirableAdditional certifications such as RHCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security, MCSE beneficial
