We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our construction company based in Tralee, Co. Kerry. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing all financial aspects of the business, ensuring robust reporting, compliance, and strategic support to operations. The position offers a hybrid working week, Construction financial management experience is a mandatory requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
* Monitor project costing, valuations, and WIP reporting to support site management.
* Implement strong financial controls, systems, and processes.
* Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
* Provide strategic input to senior management and support business growth.
* Manage and mentor finance team members.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience.
* Proven track record in construction financial management is essential.
