Financial Reporting Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly financial reports, including analysis of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
* Review and preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
* Liaising with external auditors for periodic and year-end review procedures.
* Collaboration with Tax Specialists and Advisors to ensure compliance with external reporting requirements.
* Assisting with SOX Compliance and Reporting.
* Preparation, analysis, and posting of journals at month end.
* Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end.
* Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
* Enhancing existing processes and developing new ones to optimize duties completion.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills.
* Third-Level Degree or equivalent.
* 0-5 years relevant experience in a Shared Service Centre and multinational corporation environment.
* SAP/Oracle or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective team player with ability to work under own initiative.
* Strong computer skills especially MS Office.
