Warehouse Operative – Athlone, County Westmeath
Our client, a long-standing manufacturer in Athlone, County Westmeath, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team.
This is a 6-month contract role with an option to extend. Monday – Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm).
Responsibilities
* Arrange and maintain pallets in designated areas for safe and secure storage.
* Wrap, strap, label, and load pallets correctly for on-time delivery.
* Safely operate forklifts, wrapping, and strapping tools.
* Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse, follow safety protocols, and handle finished products with proper labelling and storage.
What we need from you
* Experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment desirable.
* Proven experience operating a forklift is essential, with a valid forklift license.
* Mechanically minded with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
* Reliability and punctuality are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments as a supportive team player.
