Job Title: Financial Operations Director
The Financial Operations Director is responsible for managing and developing the administration/office staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
This includes overseeing the accounts department team, maintaining financial ledgers, providing leadership and supervision to the entire office team, and ensuring productivity and efficiency.
Liaising with HR and external auditors is also an essential part of this role.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of progressive management experience, preferably in a retail industry environment, and excellent IT skills.
They should be results-oriented, commercially astute, and possess strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
A minimum of 3 years PQE in management roles is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee accounts department team and ensure financial ledgers are maintained.
* Provide leadership and supervision to the entire office team.
* Monitor progress and performance, determine work priorities, and ensure productivity and efficiency.
* Liaise with HR and external auditors promptly.
* Implement new financial and operational systems.
Requirements:
* Results-oriented, commercially astute Accountant or Accounts Technician with 3+ years of PQE in management roles.
* Proven progressive management experience, multi-site experience in Retail Industry, and excellent IT skills.
* Financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
