Job Title: Videographer & Social Media SpecialistOverview
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Videographer & Social Media Specialist.
This hybrid role is responsible for the entire video content lifecycle, from conceptualization and shooting to post-production and strategic distribution across all our social media channels.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a deep understanding of platform-specific content best practices, trends, and analytics.
Key ResponsibilitiesI.
Video Content Production (Videographer)
Conceptualization & Pre-production: Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to conceptualize, script, and storyboard compelling video content that aligns with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
Filming: Plan, set up, and execute all video shoots, including operating camera, lighting, and professional audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Post-Production: Expertly edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
This includes arranging clips, adding motion graphics, correcting colors, mixing sound, and ensuring all final products adhere to brand guidelines.
Content Diversification: Adapt, repurpose, and reformat video content for various platforms (e.g., creating vertical Reels/TikToks from horizontal YouTube footage).
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital asset library of all raw footage and final video files.

Social Media Strategy & Management
Strategy Implementation: Execute the overarching social media strategy, focusing on video content to drive audience engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
Platform Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of current trends, algorithms, content formats, and best practices across key platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram (Reels/Stories), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Content Calendar: Plan, schedule, and publish content across all platforms at optimal times using scheduling tools.
Community Engagement: Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and actively foster a positive online community.
Performance Analysis: Utilize native platform analytics and third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to track, analyze, and report on video performance (views, engagement rate, reach, conversion).
Use data-driven insights to refine future content strategies.
Required Skills and QualificationsHard Skills (Technical & Creative)
Video Editing Proficiency: Mastery of professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Cinematography: Strong technical understanding of camera operation (DSLR/Mirrorless), lighting techniques, composition, and sound design.
Graphic Design/Motion: Proficiency in adding visual elements like text overlays, lower thirds, and basic motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects/CapCut).
Copywriting: Excellent written communication skills for crafting engaging, platform-specific captions and scripts.
Analytics & Reporting: Ability to gather, interpret, and present social media performance data.
Soft Skills
Creative Storytelling: Proven ability to translate complex ideas or brand messaging into concise, visually compelling narratives for a digital audience.
Adaptability & Trendspotting: Ability to quickly identify, learn, and implement new social media trends and platform changes.
