Job Title: Water Project Manager
Critical to our water network improvement projects in the Cork region, you will oversee a team of engineers to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure successful project delivery. You will work closely with contractors to guarantee compliance and liaise with local authorities to facilitate project progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Safety Audits and HSQE Management: Conduct thorough safety audits and manage all health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) issues associated with water projects.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with IW Design Engineers and Regional Leads to ensure seamless project execution and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Project Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and create snag lists for water projects.
To excel in this position, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in on-site supervision of civil engineering works, including water projects.
* A degree in civil engineering or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations.
* A current SafePass card and confined spaces training is desirable.
