The post is located within the Belfast Youth Development Study (BYDs) and supervised by a multi-disciplinary team to support the roll out of a further sweep of the longitudinal study, which has been running for 20+ years. The post holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of a three-phase methodology inclusive of an online survey, forensic tracing of cohort members, data linkage as well as a small qualitative component. Essential Criteria: Have or be about to obtain a relevant PhD in a health or other relevant discipline (e.g., nursing, social science, psychology, allied health, health services research). Significant relevant research experience in public health / social sciences, relating to mental health/ substance use.Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis specifically longitudinal data analysis.Breadth and depth of experience of using statistical software (SPSS/STATA/SAS/R/Mplus.Experience of presentations/dissemination of research findings at local, national or international level.A publication track record, commensurate with career stage. This post is available for 12 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
