About:
A leading financial services firm is seeking a professional, friendly and outgoing Operations Assistant/ Receptionist to join their team. This exciting role is key in providing support to senior staff and provides a wide range of exposure to various aspects of business operations while offering strong development potential for the right person.
The Role: what does the job involve?:
* Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
* Administrative support aiding senior staff with day-to-day tasks, answering phone calls, direct inquiries, and schedule appointments.
* Organisation with diary management, coordinating meetings, events and travel arrangements.
* Handle office correspondence, post and multiple shared/individual inboxes while maintaining a high standard of records.
* Onboard new staff members.
The Candidate:
* A highly organised individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong ability to work independently while also being a team player and with a
get-up and go attitude.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Previous experience in operations/ administration/ reception in a fast-paced environment is
desirable
.
* Experience with a busy switch board would be advantageous.
