Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager
This is a key role within our organisation, where you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial management, including cost and value management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with clients on commercial issues, including agreement of additional monies.
* Develop and implement cost and value management systems to ensure appropriate procedures are in place.
* Negotiate contracts with clients and employers to secure acceptable commercial results.
* Monitor and control direct works costs and financial performance.
* Propose actions in response to changes in client and stakeholder needs and expectations.
Requirements:
* Able to devise, manage and monitor complex project cost reporting systems.
* Skilled negotiator able to manage and lead negotiating teams.
* Experience in facilitating risk management reviews and identifying project and business risks.
* Qualifications: relevant third-level qualification and 15+ years commercial civils management and leadership experience.
