Your Role: Key Responsibilities As our M&E Quantity Surveyor, youll be at the heart of our commercial and construction teams, ensuring projects are delivered successfully while safeguarding financial and contractual integrity. Your responsibilities will include: Commercial Strategy: Implement and support commercial strategies to maximise returns and mitigate risks. Tender Management: Prepare tenders, analyse subcontractor bids, negotiate terms, and finalise orders. Financial Oversight: Manage subcontractor accounts from inception to Final Account completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Site Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, including site measurements, valuations, and variations. Risk & Opportunity: Proactively identify and address risks while capitalising on opportunities to enhance project outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with site management teams to influence commercial decisions and uphold contractual entitlements. Leadership: Mentor and oversee Assistant and Trainee Quantity Surveyors, ensuring high standards in their work. Who Were Looking For To excel in this role, you should have: Industry Experience: Proven background in Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying, with a strong grasp of the Standard Method of Measurement. Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management (e.g., JCT), CVRs, and commercial reporting. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to negotiate, liaise with stakeholders, and prepare detailed reports. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain precision under pressure. Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with progress toward professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB) preferred.
