Overview:KDP Ireland is seeking an ambitious Procurement Manager to join its Global Procurement team and lead strategic sourcing activities for selected raw ingredients, including flavours, colors, soft materials, fruit juice, and concentrates. The Manager will oversee all aspects of supplier lifecycle management to create value through cost reduction, risk mitigation, sustainability, growth & innovation, quality improvement, and enhanced service delivery. Collaboration with team members, cross-functional partners, and external suppliers is essential to develop robust category strategies aligned with business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the procurement subject matter expert for selected direct material components.
Utilize KDP Procurement’s strategic category management framework to generate insights.
Work with key partners to develop category strategies addressing Safety, Quality, Service, Sustainability, Cost, and Innovation.
Execute sourcing projects using Ariba (RFQ/RFP/RFI, online auctions, collaborative sourcing, negotiations, etc.).
Manage all aspects of the supplier lifecycle, including identification, onboarding, contracts, performance, risk, and offboarding.
Create annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts with support from Finance.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
Maintain a master contract management system for all spend within scope.
Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
At least four years of strategic procurement experience in a complex supply chain environment; CPG experience preferred.
Strong drive for opportunity identification and continuous improvement.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Strong financial analytical skills.
Proven project leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Ability to thrive in a multinational, matrix environment.
Effective communication skills across all levels.
Capability to meet deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; SAP Ariba experience preferred.
