The Talent Branch is recruiting for an experienced Upholsterer / Furniture Technician on behalf of a highly reputable, family-orientated furniture & upholstery restoration business, widely regarded as a market leader in furniture repair and assembly across Northern & Southern Ireland. The role:
This is a field-based position supporting domestic and commercial customers across the Leinster region. You'll attend pre-booked jobs, complete repairs or assemblies to a high standard, communicate clearly with customers throughout, and represent a respected brand in people's homes and workplaces.
Upholsterer / Furniture Technician Key responsibilities:
* Furniture repair and assembly in customer homes and commercial premises
* Upholstery repair work (fabric and leather)
* Timber repair and cosmetic restoration
* Furniture assembly and fitting to manufacturer standards
* On-site assessments, measuring, and job planning
* Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Delivering excellent customer service and clear communication on each job
What we're looking for:
* Experience in furniture repair, assembly, upholstery, leather repair, timber repair, or a closely related trade (preferred)
* Confident with hand tools and power tools
* Strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality
* Professional, customer-facing communication skills
* Able to work independently, manage your diary, and hit deadlines
* Valid driving licence and reliable transport
* Physically able to lift and move furniture/equipment as required
* Authorised to work in Ireland
