Job Title Structural Engineer – Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Job Description We have an excellent job opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our expanding Structural Engineering team in Dublin.
The team provides civil & structural design services to various clients within Building Engineering.
The successful candidate will work with a broad range of professionals—from the Director to newly chartered Engineers—receiving structured training, access to an international knowledge‑sharing network, and opportunities for continuous professional development within AECOM.
Responsibilities Deliver structural engineering services on building projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate, and preparing designs.
Prepare technical specifications.
Supervise work by Graduate Engineers, ensuring that it meets the appropriate technical standards.
Direct Technicians to ensure that drawing work is completed and clearly communicate designed solutions.
Write reports and produce technical documents.
Qualifications BSc/MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent with postgraduate design experience in an engineering consultancy.
Experience in building structure design using all main materials across various structural projects.
Highly motivated Engineer with previous consultancy experience.
Experience with Eurocodes is essential.
Knowledge of finite element and frame analysis software for steel and RC frames, flat slabs, etc.
(Tekla, SCIA, etc.).
