Who Should Apply?
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
* Experience in leading data governance initiatives within a large, complex organisation.
* Or consulting experience within a large firm.
* A strong understanding of data strategy, governance frameworks, and best practices in financial and operational data management.
* The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, balancing technical expertise with commercial acumen.
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to senior leadership team, this role will involve:
* Data Strategy & Leadership – Developing a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with the organisation's finance and operational objectives.
* Governance Frameworks – Establishing and rolling out policies, controls, and best practices to enhance data accuracy and compliance.
* Data Management & Quality – Ensuring the integrity of key financial and operational data through structured master data management and monitoring processes.
* Integration & Change Management – Leading data transformation projects, particularly in integrating data from newly acquired businesses and evolving system landscapes.
* Business Partnering – Collaborating closely with finance, commercial, and technology teams to embed data-driven decision-making across the company.
* Training & Culture – Driving awareness and best practices for data governance throughout the organisation.
