A leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a major public realm and telecoms projects in Leinster, with further long-term work planned in the region.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of this large-scale project, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a civil engineer with strong leadership skills to step into a long-term role on significant infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage site teams on a large roadworks project.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and on-site operations.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Monitor programme schedules, productivity, and progress reporting.
Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and client representatives.
Oversee documentation, permits, and reporting.
Support continuous improvement across project delivery.
Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in a Site Agent role.
Proven experience in telecoms, public realm infrastructure projects.
Excellent knowledge of Irish construction regulations and contract procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Full clean driving licence.
