Job Description
Supporting Young People at the Right Time: This role focuses on early intervention with young people (U18) experiencing substance misuse, alongside support for their families. You’ll work in a community and outreach setting, where building trust, consistency, and engagement is key.
Responsibilities
Provide individual support and structured interventions
Work with families and affected others
Carry out assessments and care planning
Collaborate with services such as CAMHS and Tusla
Support access to education, health, and recovery services
Maintain professional and safeguarding standards
Qualifications
Qualification in Social Care, Counselling or related discipline
Experience working with young people and/or addiction services
Strong understanding of safeguarding and interagency working
Ability to work across Mullingar and Athlone locations
Structured, supportive team environment
Ongoing training and CPD
