Job Opportunity: Training Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Training Specialist.
\

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough participant inductions, including initial suitability assessments and ongoing formative evaluations, to support tailored learning and development.
\
You will also collaborate with participants and Employment Liaison Officers to co-design, implement, and regularly review personalised development plans.
\
Another key aspect of the role will be developing and delivering academy-based training programmes aligned with current labour market needs in key sectors such as Hospitality and Tourism, Health and Social Care, and the Green Economy.
\
Additionally, you will design, develop, and deliver accredited skills-based employability training academies by creating comprehensive schemes of work and detailed lesson plans tailored to participant needs and industry standards.
\
The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of Skills Connect academies aligns with employer requirements and job entry criteria by actively engaging with strategic job partners to maintain a collaborative and responsive approach.

Key Responsibilities:
\

1. Conduct thorough participant inductions, including initial suitability assessments and ongoing formative evaluations, to support tailored learning and development.
\
2. Collaborate with participants and Employment Liaison Officers to co-design, implement, and regularly review personalised development plans.
\
3. Develop and deliver academy-based training programmes aligned with current labour market needs in key sectors.
\
4. Design, develop, and deliver accredited skills-based employability training academies.
\
5. Ensure the delivery of Skills Connect academies aligns with employer requirements and job entry criteria.
\\/ul\[p]Required Qualifications:\
\
6. A full current driving license and access to a car.
\
7. Leaving Certificate in English and Maths or equivalent.
\
8. Minimum of 1 year's paid experience in direct provision training.
\
9. Proven experience of working with Awarding Bodies.

\
10. Internal verifier/moderator qualifications.
