Role Description:
The
IT Support
specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT systems and providing efficient technical assistance to end users. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting both hardware and software environments. Working closely with the IT team, the IT Support specialist ensures that all employees have reliable access to the technology and tools they need to perform effectively.
Key responsibilities include managing user requests, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and maintaining IT equipment, networks, and software systems. The role involves installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and applications, as well as supporting security protocols and backup procedures. The IT Support specialist will document technical incidents, manage user accounts, and contribute to process improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing long-term solutions. Additionally, the role may involve assisting in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and the implementation of new technologies.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, solution-oriented, and adaptable, with strong communication and technical troubleshooting skills. They are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and can provide both remote and on-site support when required.
Qualifications:
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
 * 2–5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
 * Strong understanding of Windows and macOS environments; knowledge of Linux is a plus.
 * Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications.
 * Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
 * Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices and endpoint protection.
 * Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
 * Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to assist users with varying levels of technical expertise.
 * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
 * Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-oriented service.
 * Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
