Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst to join a global leading insurance firm. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, the Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting actuarial valuations and contributing to various projects. This position is based in Dublin and has a hybrid working policy. The successful candidate will ideally have 2-5 years of experience in non-life insurance.
About the Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst role
The Corporate Actuarial Senior Analyst, reporting to the Head of Corporate Actuarial, is responsible for conducting actuarial valuations and contributing to various projects. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality and timely execution of actuarial oversight in compliance with governance standards. It involves leading project initiatives within the global Corporate Actuarial function to enhance practices within Finance and collaborating with business units and stakeholders, including IT. The role also includes coordinating large-scale activities and improving procedures and models.
Duties include:
* Managing actuarial valuation in compliance with standards. Establishing and enhancing professional frameworks.
* Contributing independently to global projects and company initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
* Staying updated with new standards and implementing initiatives within the actuarial function, using professional judgment and critical thinking.
Actuarial Skills
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in non-life insurance, but relevant actuarial experience in other areas will also be considered.
Required experience includes:
* At least 4 years in an insurance role with progression towards actuarial qualification.
* Ability to manage complex projects.
* Strong influence and leadership skills in complex environments.
