Job Title: Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents and tenants in their own homes, promoting their dignity and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily activities such as personal care, ensuring clients' dignity and wellbeing is promoted.
* Implement support plans with clients as directed by project workers, including tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and general housekeeping.
* Provide relief care for carers and colleagues as required.
* Report any concerns to project workers or team leaders and be aware of the changing needs of service users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Level 5 QQI Healthcare or equivalent relevant qualification.
* Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in a related field.
* Full clean driving license and access to a car.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to respect each service user's dignity and sense of independence.
