Job Description
We are currently seeking an experiencedConstruction Yard Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy yard. This role requires a hands‑on individual who can work on their own initiative, manage stock efficiently, and ensure smooth coordination of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organise all yard operations
Receive, check, and store construction materials
Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised yard
Monitor stock levels and report shortages
Coordinate deliveries and collections
Operate yard machinery as required
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Good knowledge of construction materials
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Strong organisational and communication skills
Teleporter and forklift experience desirable (certification an advantage)
