Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of precision blending, conveying, and process control systems for the plastics industry. Based in Dundalk, they deliver innovative Industry solutions to customers across the globe, supporting sustainable and efficient manufacturing.
We are expanding our production team and are seeking General Assembly Operators to support the build of our advanced equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical or electrical assembly backgrounds to step into a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components of industrial equipment including:
o Gravimetric blenders and feeders
o Control panels and electronic modules
o Material handling and conveying systems
· Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, or electrical schematics
· Perform wiring, cable routing, and basic panel building
· Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices
· Ensure quality standards are met throughout the build process
· Support in-house testing, calibration, and commissioning of systems before dispatch
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams
Required Skills & Experience
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role (mechanical, electrical, or mixed)
· Exposure to industrial, process, or electrical control systems preferred
· Ability to work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams
· Experience using hand/power tools and operating safely in a factory setting
· Comfortable working to deadlines in a production environment
· Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable Backgrounds
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in one or more of the following areas:
· Mechanical assembly of industrial machinery, equipment frames, or moving components
· Electrical panel wiring, including reading and working from wiring diagrams or electrical schematics
· Hydraulic or pneumatic systems assembly or fitting
· Working with process control systems, automation equipment, or material handling systems
· Experience in precision assembly, calibration, or testing of components in a quality-focused production environment
