About the post: This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team in a fast-paced, dynamic Organisation.
The primary role of the post holder is to pro-actively co-ordinate, administer and manage the School of Nursing and Midwifery activities, and to work closely with the Operations Manager, Head of School and Director of Academic Affairs to oversee all functions within the School.
Job Responsibilities § Responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day administrative operations and coordination of the School of Nursing and Midwifery activities § Responsible for the people management of professional support in the School of Nursing and Midwifery in support of the Operations Manager § Manage the preparation, servicing, and follow-up of Examination Boards, including documentation, data collation, decisions recording, and communication of outcomes.
§ Develop and maintain efficient academic administrative systems, including workflows, and communication processes to enhance operational effectiveness, and play a key role in supporting the School's transition toward fully Quercus-generated Examination Boards.
§ Oversee student progression monitoring, ensuring timely processing of results, deferrals, extensions, and progression decisions in line with academic policies.
§ Maintain accurate academic and assessment records, ensuring alignment with Registry systems and adherence to data governance standards.
§ Mentor, and train professional support staff involved in assessment and academic administration, providing guidance and support as required.
§ Work closely with academic team, Registry, and external stakeholders to support effective programme delivery and ensure robust assessment and progression practices.
§ Deputise for the Operations Manager as required, and undertake additional duties that support the strategic and operational objectives of the School of Nursing
