Finance & Data Analyst – Qualified Accountant (FMCG)

Armont Recruitment is working with a leading FMCG multinational with a strong market presence, seeking a qualified accountant with advanced data expertise to join its Dublin finance team. This newly created role will focus on driving process improvement, centralisation of finance activities, and enhanced financial reporting across multiple entities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting ongoing finance transformation within a high-volume, fast-moving consumer goods environment — ideal for an ambitious accountant eager to combine technical finance skills with process and data analysis.
The Role
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with group timelines.
* Support statutory and regulatory compliance requirements across FMCG entities.
* Lead initiatives in process improvement, standardisation, and centralisation.
* Partner with international teams to deliver finance transformation and reporting projects.
* Leverage Excel, ERP, SQL, and BI tools to provide actionable financial insights.
* Identify automation opportunities and streamline reporting workflows.
* Maintain robust internal controls and support audit readiness.
* Provide accounting support across centralised functions including reconciliations and financial analysis.
The Candidate
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 0–3years' PQE.
* Strong data and analytical skills; advanced Excel essential, SQL and Tableau (or other BI tools) highly desirable.
* Previous experience in FMCG, multinational, or shared services environments advantageous.
* Process-focused mindset with proven experience in process or systems improvement.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced FMCG setting.
