About The Role
OCS is contracted to provide PRM services on behalf of DAA.
The Ramp Manager has overall responsibility for all OCS vehicles/equipment and PRM airside operations for these services.
The Ramp Manager will monitor compliance with health, safety and legal aspects pertaining to airside operation and ensure that all vehicles and equipment are regularly serviced and maintained to a high standard to facilitate an efficient service as directed within the Service Level Agreements.
The Ramp Manager is the first point of contact with airside DAA and stakeholder personnel and will attend meetings as requested.
The Ramp Manager reports directly to the OCS Operations Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Management, supervision and coordination of the company aviation fleet.
Overall responsibility for fleet management, maintenance, servicing and repairs.
Continuation of a Safety-first approach to fleet management to minimise risk and maximise fleet performance/productivity.
Management of all assigned staff within the Ramp operation including arranging shift cover, training and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Management of Ramp Supervisors to ensure full Ramp compliance with equipment and staff behaviour.
Management of the Fleet Management Flex System for all designated vehicles.
Management of acquisitions and disposals of the existing fleet.
Overseeing the registration of all fleet vehicles under OCS ownership.
Managing vehicle maintenance, taxation, insurance and testing.
Providing advice on all fleet-related issues to senior management and users.
Furnishing reports regarding airline delay investigations, customer complaints, accidents or incidents as required.
Ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are registered on the QHSE Portal.
Being available in emergency situations to respond to requests for assistance outside of normal working hours.
Conducting continual safety and performance audits and implementing follow-up actions to ensure compliance with Company SOPs.
Using information technology equipment, including handheld technologies, as directed.
Maintain training and competencies to perform all driver duties and functions.
Any other duties as assigned by senior management.

Promote OCS as a professional service provider.
Ensure ramp area safety and tidiness.
Work within personal capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Be flexible with working hours if required.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an airport apron environment.
