We are looking for an experienced International Senior Finance Manager to work as part of the International Finance Team at our International HQ in Dublin. This role is a 10-month maternity cover fixed-term contract. You will report to the International Finance Director and will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with both US GAAP and local financial reporting standards.
People management and auditing experience are essential. To be successful in the role, you should have excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and making decisions.
We offer flexible working so you can work from home if you prefer, however you’ll need to attend the Dublin office every Tuesday for in-person collaboration and be available to start in November 2025.
What you will do
* You will review general ledger tasks/journals across multiple areas during month-end close for several markets across the international business.
* You will assist with the end to end management of a French entity which Ancestry acquired in 2021.
* You will work with stakeholders to ensure that accounting records are complete and accurate.
* You will review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for GL accounts across multiple entities (multi-currency) using Floqast tool.
* You will complete month end close processes observing internal controls and US GAAP reporting standards.
* You will present month end variance analysis to senior finance leaders.
* People management, coaching & development of direct reports.
* You’ll be responsible for end-to-end management of several local statutory audits across international incl. review of financial statements.
Who you are
* You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
* You have at least 8 years post-qualified experience.
* You have industry experience in an international environment.
* You have solid accounting and technical skills (FRS102, IFRS, US GAAP, SOX).
* Proficiency in Oracle(R12)/R11 GL module desired, not essential.
