Boasting 88 meticulously designed bedrooms, a stylish duplex Cedar bar, a refined Cedar Rooms restaurant, a state-of-the-art Zest health club, and 15 versatile meeting rooms, The Killeshin Hotel offers a fresh perspective on hospitality in the Midlands, placing utmost importance on personal interaction and unparalleled service for our esteemed guests.One of Six properties within the Só Hotel Group, there are significant progression and development opportunities for ambitious and driven hospitality professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.Execute basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior chefs, including grilling, frying, roasting, and baking.Providing support to senior chefs during busy periods by following their instructions, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely completion of orders.Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes in accordance with to the bar/restaurant's standards and specifications.Set up and organising workstations with necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment for daily operations.Assisting in monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and ensuring the freshness of ingredients.Communicating effectively with team members and chefs to ensure smooth workflow and coordination in the kitchen.Actively participating in training sessions and learning opportunities to improve culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques.The Ideal CandidateHave previous experience in a busy kitchenStrong communication and organisational skills are a must as this is a busy, dynamic role.Candidates must be flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings and on occasion early mornings.BenefitsThe Só Hotel Group is a rewarding company to work for.
