Job Title: Field Service Engineer
This is a senior role for experienced service engineers who want to excel in analytical laboratory instrumentation support. We are looking for experts with extensive knowledge of chromatography equipment and its maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service delivery support for complex analytical systems
* Technical function management including proactive issue resolution and quality improvement initiatives
* Promoting high-quality service by collaborating with colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction
* Effective brand representation and maintenance through strong customer engagement
* Identification and implementation of service delivery improvements
* Performance of routine and non-routine Preventive Maintenance (PM), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ)
* Troubleshooting and breakdown repairs of laboratory equipment
* Supporting fellow engineers to ensure seamless operations
* Responding to technical customer queries promptly and professionally
* Facilitating communication between customers and internal teams
* Evaluation of fault reports and initiation of corrective measures
* Timely handling of customer complaints to maintain excellent relationships
* Notification of major deviations and resource allocation when necessary
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant Science or Engineering field
* Proven track record in a cGxP environment
* At least 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical analytical laboratory work with chromatography, dissolution and physical testing equipment
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously within established guidelines and directives
* A valid full driving license
