Medical administrator Private Clinic, Sandyford, South Dublin €40-45k depending on experience This is a clinic-based role Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday Thursday 8am 2pm Friday Our client are seeking an additional well motivated and experienced medical administrator to join their team and growing organisation. The role is patient facing, with ongoing detailed administrative clinic preparation, organisation of patient information, tests and follow-up. This role requires a self-starter, with an ability to work independently and within a team and follow through on day-to-day work and reporting. The administration team work directly with clinical staff for ongoing best practice in medical administrative patient care management. Responsibilities Medical administration staff are excellent communicators, responsible for ongoing clinic workflow, patient appointment scheduling, which includes in-person interactions, phone calls and the management of patient emails. Maintaining up-to-date patient databases, ensuring a high standard of clinic administration. Reporting and communicating are key responsibilities in this role. Qualifications Ideally, this person will have a detailed and proven experience in the area of medical administration, operating systems and experience of working well within a team. Someone who is naturally empathetic and professional in their approach. An ability to listen and problem solve. Experienced in the use of operating systems with ease, with excellent interpersonal and professional skills. Prior experience within a medical setting as an administrator Experience as an administrator within a private medical clinic preferred Minimum 4 years solid work experience and longevity with employers Fluent spoken and written English essential for this role Excellent MS Office skills The Role Experience in the area of detailed administrative management of private clinical practice is highly valued, along with an ability to work well with others. The role is multifactorial including day-to-day clinic administration, team and ongoing clinic planning. There is also the opportunity to be involved in collaborating on projects as they emerge from inception to completion, associated with patient management and clinic growth.
