We are currently expanding our team, as we have a need for a Senior Building Management System (BMS) Design Engineer.ResponsibilitiesInterfacing with clientsBMS integrator managementSupporting commissioning activities such as SATs, Installation Verification, Operational Verification, writing of SOPs for the BMS. This includes but not limited to I/Os, alarm testing, loop checks, etcDeveloping I/O listsDeveloping client Sequence of Operations documentsBMS System Architecture & Topography developmentReviewing Software Functional Specifications and hardware specificationsReviewing panel wiring diagramsInstrumentation designFAT/SAT document preparation & executionCost EstimatesReviewing test documents and witness testing.Attending project, staff, company, design review, ISO, and group meetings and actively participate in discussionsLead other commissioning resources to achieve overall commissioning goalsInteracting with design and construction engineers, quality assurance, construction personnel, contractors and plant managersDealing effectively with issues arising throughout the daily cycle and develop solutions to ensure successful resolutionQualificationsTo be successful and to succeed in this role, you will haveLevel 8 Engineering degree (i.e. Mechanical, Building Services Engineering) or, minimum five (5) year apprenticeship program or related College technical diploma with six or more years of relevant experience.Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or health-related facilityExperience in a GMP manufacturing facility.Experience of sustainability projects (LEED, BREAAM or similar) would be an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good understanding of current good manufacturing practices, 21 CFR Part 11, 210 and 211, and Annex 11Knowledge and strong background in BMSGeneral knowledge of network configuration, computer hardware and software, including automation applicationsProficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to work well with employees at all levels of the organization.
