Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to company premises, ensuring only authorised personnel enter the building.
Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify and respond to any security risks or safety hazards.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, and other security technology.
Respond promptly to incidents including emergencies, fire alarms, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.
Prepare detailed and accurate incident and shift reports, maintaining logs and records as required.
Support emergency response procedures including fire evacuations, first aid, or lockdowns.
Liaise professionally with staff, visitors, emergency services, and third-party contractors.
Enforce compliance with company health & safety and security policies.
Assist with investigations into security breaches or incidents.
Participate in regular training and drills as required by the company or Irish regulations.
Ensure that security operations are conducted in accordance with the Private Security Authority (PSA) standards.
Requirements:
Valid PSA Licence (Static).
Proficient in managing fire alarm panel alerts and coordinating appropriate evacuation responses.
Previous experience in a similar corporate or high-profile security role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Good observational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
Basic computer skills (e.g., incident reporting, email).
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
