The team we work with are like a family and we want to hire more individuals who can integrate into our close-knit team.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the consistent review of costings, allergen lists, hygiene and HACCP standards in the kitchen including temperature reporting for hot and cold equipment.Co-ordinating delivery of stock and reviewing invoices to ensure all items ordered were delivered successfully and in good condition.Working with the Head Chef and other kitchen members to safely and efficiently produce food of a high and consistent quality with a positive attitude.Stock control and rotationUnderstand menus and details for presentation standards for each dish.Ensure minimum kitchen wastage.Comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.Co-ordinating delivery of stock and reviewing invoices to ensure all items ordered were delivered successfully and in good condition.Ensuring that the kitchen complies with food hygiene policies, HACCP standards, and food storage requirements.Working in an efficient manner to clean and polish crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and cookwareStock control and rotation.Collaborating with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness across all equipment prior to anything being presented to customers.Waste management, dry cleaning and maintenance of the outside appearance of the cafe (i.e. picking up litter, cleaning outdoor seating areas, etc.).Performing all duties to close the kitchen at the end of the day, ensuring all machinery is turned off, surfaces and floors are sanitised, food is safely stored.Cleaning all kitchen machinery on a regular basis to ensure food is treated, stored, cooked and cooled hygienically.Licences or Credentials:Right to Work in the Republic of IrelandNecessary Skills & CapabilitiesAttention to detailKnowledge of food production methodsWorking in a fast-paced environment with hot equipmentRequires heavy lifting on occasion for movement of stock, equipment, or machineryDetailed knowledge of allergens and food ingredientsPassion for food, creativity and enthusiasm to create new menu items and specialsStrong work ethicWilling to work in a very busy environmentAdditional pay:TipsBenefits:Food allowanceOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityLanguage:English (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In personJob Type: Part-timePay: From €13.50 per hourBenefits:Food allowanceWork Location: In person
