Job Description
Seek a Senior Vice President, Platforms Operating Model (POM) Product Owner to join the NAV Workflow, Oversight & Control team in Manchester. The role is responsible for aligning platform operations strategy, executing operational initiatives, and ensuring risk and control governance across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Define the Platform Operations strategy in partnership with the EPO and Engineering Lead, translating strategic intent into multi‑year roadmaps, annual plans, and measurable outcomes.
Lead delivery of Operations services across Pods and SDGs; drive continuous improvement in client experience, unit costs, and control enhancements through robust operating mechanisms and disciplined execution.
Provide senior Operations expertise to enable the Platform mandate; escalate material Operations issues to the EPO, Operations Practice Lead, and other governance forums; lead remediation and preventive actions.
Proactively implement Operations Practice standards, tools, and techniques within the Platform, including Operations metrics, Service Catalogues, Manual Touch Point reporting, and Digital Tool deployment in partnership with the Operations Hub.
Partner with Operations leaders across other Platforms to share best practices, streamline hand‑offs, and optimize end‑to‑end transaction flows across the enterprise; resolve cross‑platform dependencies and friction points.
Develop and execute a communications strategy that ensures all Operations staff understand Platform priorities, their roles in achieving them, and progress against goals; foster transparency and accountability.
Govern risk and control posture across Operations, ensuring adherence to KRIs/KPIs, timely remediation, and sustainable control design; lead readiness for audits and reviews.
Qualifications
Extensive Operations leadership experience in complex, scaled environments; Agile experience preferred.
Strong data management and analytics capability; experienced in deploying Digital Tools to improve efficiency, control, and client outcomes.
Executive leadership and influencing skills across senior stakeholders; can align diverse teams to a common agenda.
Decisive, able to make hard and fast decisions with sound judgment in dynamic, time‑sensitive contexts.
Structured problem‑solving with a bias to measurable outcomes and sustainable solutions.
