Reservations Agent - Whites of Wexford
We are looking for an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team at Whites of Wexford.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and emails from prospective guests, corporate clients, tour operators and travel agents promptly and professionally.
Answer the hotel telephone to the agreed company standards.
Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure service provided is above and beyond guest expectation.
Complete departmental checklist daily.
Input all group rooming lists.
Develop strong working relationships with colleagues in your department and related departments.
Convert enquiries to a sale, passing on new business leads to the Sales team.
Experience / Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of reservations/reception experience.
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
Strong customer care skills.
Ability to organise and prioritise.
Experience with Hotsoft Office System is desirable.
Knowledge of third‑party websites is desirable.
