**Job Description:**

Our company is a leading climate solutions and energy company with a proud legacy of innovation, resilience, and environmental stewardship. For over 75 years, we have been at the forefront of energy technology, evolving to meet the changing needs of Ireland while remaining committed to delivering long-term value for communities and the environment.

Every aspect of our operations is aligned with Ireland's national climate goals. By investing in renewable energy, rehabilitating peatlands, and supporting biodiversity, we continue to lead the way in shaping a more sustainable and resilient Ireland.

As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of planning applications and associated environmental and technical assessments for a wide range of Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) and non-SID renewable energy projects. This position will be instrumental in ensuring that all planning-related activities are carried out efficiently, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and in alignment with project timelines and strategic goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assisting Senior Project Managers/Project Directors with design, planning, and environmental assessment requirements for Renewable Energy projects up to the point of consenting decision.
* Coordinating and managing all associated documents, including EIA and AA Screening, Planning & Environmental Reports, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (if required), and Appropriate Assessment/Natura Impact Statement reports as required for multiple renewable energy projects.
* Managing baseline environmental and constraints assessments and facilitating interaction between project team members as required.
* Supporting the planning team in staying up-to-date with planning/environmental legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans by assisting with review and identification of key developments for our projects.
* Contributing to Company submissions as required.
* Assisting the Communications and Engagement team with developing effective project plans for managing consultation with local communities and other relevant stakeholders, including statutory and non-statutory consultees.
* Supporting the planning team and community engagement team with preparation for and attendance at Community Events as required.
* Ensuring that all works carried out under your remit comply with company Health & Safety and Environmental policies and all relevant EU and National policies and statutory requirements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To excel in this role, you will need strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You should also have a solid understanding of environmental regulations and policies, as well as experience working with renewable energy projects. Additionally, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. A degree in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering, would be an asset.

**Benefits:**

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that contribute to a more sustainable future. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career. Our company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork. We are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and creativity, where employees feel empowered to share their ideas and take calculated risks.

**About Us:**

We are a forward-thinking organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment. Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable, and reliable energy to communities across Ireland, while promoting sustainable development and reducing our carbon footprint. We believe in the importance of protecting the natural world and preserving it for future generations. If you share our values and are passionate about contributing to a better tomorrow, we encourage you to join our team.
