Mobile Device Technician (iOS, Android & Google Pixel) – Immediate Start

MTech Mobility is a leading provider of mobile device lifecycle services, supporting enterprise customers across Europe. We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Mobile Device Technician to join our Wexford operations team. This is a hands‑on role focused on the diagnosis, repair, provisioning, deployment, and management of mobile devices. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Apple iPhone, Android, and Google Pixel devices, excellent fault‑finding skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on mobile devices
Repair smartphones and tablets, including screen, battery, charging port, camera, and component replacements
Perform device testing, quality control, and final inspections
Provision, configure, and deploy mobile devices for enterprise customers
Enroll and support devices within Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, device information, and customer updates using Salesforce and internal systems
Maintain accurate inventory, asset tracking, and repair records
Support advance exchange, staging, and device deployment programmes
Assist with spare parts management and stock control
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
Keep up to date with the latest developments in Apple, Android, and Google Pixel technology
Essential Requirements
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing Apple iPhone devices
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing Android smartphones and tablets
Strong knowledge of Google Pixel devices
Excellent fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of iOS and Android operating systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience accurately recording work using CRM, ticketing, or service management systems
Comfortable working with Salesforce or similar business systems
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
Genuine interest in mobile technology and emerging devices
Must have a legal right to work in Ireland and hold any required employment permit or visa to undertake full‑time employment
Desirable
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
Experience in a repair centre, service centre, or enterprise mobility environment
Technical qualification in electronics, engineering, IT, or a related discipline
Experience supporting enterprise device deployment projects
