Job Title: Global Security Consultant
The role of a Global Security Consultant is to provide expert advice and support to ensure the safety and security of our staff and programs in high-risk environments. This position will work closely with country teams, security focal points, and regional desks to develop and implement effective security management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis of potential security threats
- Develop and implement tailored security management plans for each country program
- Provide training and capacity-building programs for staff on security awareness and best practices
- Collaborate with country teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably in the humanitarian sector
* Degree-level education or equivalent
* Fluent spoken and written English; proficiency in French and Arabic an asset
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing situations
