Kennedys is seeking a Litigation Assistant to join our Dublin office.
This role involves providing legal and administrative support to solicitors handling motor claims, assisting in case management, legal research and liaising with clients, insurers and third parties.
Team Kennedys liability team provides strategic advice on underwriting, coverage and management of claims through the litigation process with particular expertise in travel, fraud, product liability, catastrophic injury, property subrogation and motor claims.
Key Responsibilities Organising client papers Accompanying fee earners to meetings and note-taking Preparing draft court papers for review by lawyers on the team Liaising with witnesses, counsel and experts, including organising consultations Obtaining medical records Preparing briefs to counsel Reviewing CCTV Assisting with preparations for trial Attending on counsel at court and taking attendance notes Diarising all court and other deadlines for the team Completing payment requisitions Required Experience 1-2 years previous experience in a defence legal support, paralegal or litigation assistant role (experience with motor related claims is advantageous).
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures in Ireland.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
