Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Onsite in Tralee, Co. Kerry

Our client needs a hands-on Infrastructure PM with a technical backbone to run the IT/OT infrastructure workstream in a live construction environment and keep schedule/dependencies on track.
Scope & responsibilities
* Own the infrastructure workstream schedule and dependencies across construction, M&E, security, networks, server/compute, storage, and site readiness.
* Coordinate internal SMEs/solution architects; hold owners to dates, surface risks early, unblock issues.
* Drive server/comms-room fit-out to "rack-ready": access control, containment & structured cabling, power, cooling/CRAC, fire, floor loading, patching.
* Sequence prerequisites correctly (room readiness racks power-up/commission handover).
* Vendor coordination, permits/access, materials lead times, delivery logistics.
* Weekly progress packs, RAID/change control, and stakeholder comms from site level to execs.
* Ensure H&S/site protocols and plant policies are followed.
Must-have
* 5-10+ years delivering IT infrastructure projects as a PM.
* Technical grounding in infrastructure (earlier career in network/infra/data-centre delivery or equivalent): able to read L2/L3 diagrams, power/cooling basics, cabling standards, security/AC considerations.
* Proven greenfield/plant or campus build experience (construction-site cadence; trades/M&E coordination).
* Strong schedule management (MS Project/Primavera), dependency control, vendor & stakeholder management.
* Plain-English translation of IT for non-technical stakeholders (construction, H&S, facilities); confident chairing stand-ups and walk-throughs.
* Comfortable onsite in PPE, inspecting rooms, using readiness checklists, and enforcing sequence.
Nice-to-have
* Pharma/manufacturing background; exposure to OT/ICS.
* Familiar with GxP/CSV and controlled environments.
* Ability to produce simple HLD/LLD/Visio diagrams and acceptance checklists.
* Vendor familiarity (e.g., Cisco/Aruba, Dell/EMC, Palo Alto/Check Point, UPS/CRAC vendors).
Work pattern
* Preferred: 5 days/week onsite. Considered: 4 days/week.
Deliverables (examples)
* Integrated infra schedule & weekly status.
* RAID log with owners/dates.
* Server/Comms Room Readiness & Handover checklists (access, cabling, power, cooling, security, racks).
* Vendor action tracker and site access plan.
