Overview
We are recruiting Boners / Skilled Butchers for our client’s busy meat processing facility in County Waterford. The successful candidates will work as part of the factory team, producing meat to meet daily and weekly production targets. This role involves breaking carcases into suitable portions at line speed and ensuring product quality and specification are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Fully debone carcases and separate all cuts to specification.
* Operate knives, cleavers, and saws safely and efficiently.
* Maintain hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
* Inspect meat for bruising or defects and remove as necessary.
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
* Perform physical duties, including lifting and standing for long periods.
Requirements
* Excellent knife and deboning skills.
* Previous experience in the butchery or meat processing trade.
* Ability to meet targets while maintaining quality.
