The Role
BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a permanent HR Generalist/ People Consultant in our People Services team. The HR Generalist/ People Consultant is a trusted advisor and strategic partner to People Managers, serving as the first point of contact for guidance on workforce management, HR policies, and organisational effectiveness. This role blends hands‑on support with advice, helping managers navigate complex people processes while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Work Arrangement
This is a fully on-site role. Occasional remote work may be considered in the future, limited to one (1) day per week, subject to business needs.
Key Duties And Responsibilities

Be a trusted advisor to managers with guidance and support for more complex workforce management and HR policy advice
Proactively plan and implement strategies to upskill new People Managers and provide support and counsel to experienced People Managers when navigating through various HR processes and issues
Use discretion, sound judgement and take decisions as appropriate, to determine the best method of resolution
In support of the HRBP, use diagnostics/data and understanding of business needs to identify proactive HR interventions and people practices in support of local business objectives
Ensure that the workforce and leaders understand People processes
Partner and support business groups to enable the development and implementation of One BMS culture for the site and across functions
Support the HRBP in engagement; build capabilities to drive organisational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions
Coordinate and ensure seamless end‑to‑end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes—working with the PS teams, leading and advocating for improvements that enhance the customer experience
Work with the HRBP to support and drive Change Management plans for incoming and settling functions and capabilities, and in support of initiatives and evolutions; may participate in the roll out of change plans in partnership with business leaders to prepare, equip and support people to successfully adopt change in order to drive organisational success
Partner with the HRBP, global Centres of Excellence (COE) in rolling out of global programs and processes to ensure a smooth transition
Monitor compliance with all applicable BMS policies and seek appropriate counsel; drive organisational commitment to leverage diversity to our competitive advantage
Have a deep understanding of Irish employment legislation to ensure that processes and policies adhere to the changing legislation and work with COE and PS colleagues when legislation might require some changes regarding contract template changes
Play a proactive role in supporting the Employee Relations culture on site working with the Employee Relations teams, HRBP and local leaders
Research, problem‑solve and respond to issues requiring a site HR perspective/alignment, working closely with PS colleagues, HRBP and COE
Work collaboratively within the HRBP to share ideas, ownership and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key HR processes across Ireland
May also lead and get involved in site‑specific or regional/global People related projects, as required

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required

Minimum of 6 years HR experience, preferably in an international matrixed environment, and a manufacturing site
HR or Equivalent Degree Qualification
Extensive experience as an HR business partner or HR Generalist with strong leadership skills and experience working with multi‑functional business teams
Exposure to employee relations issues and cases
Demonstrated success in working effectively with senior management levels to impact and influence decision making
Proven Business & Analytical Acumen along with problem solving and diagnostic skills
Data literacy, analytics and ability to frame and articulate storytelling based on complex data set
Organisation efficiency and intelligence experience in understanding organisation dynamics affecting the organisation culture
Proven track record in developing employees and managers
Ability to flex across different types of cultures, work, complexities, business situations and matrix partners
Strong continuous improvement mindset and proven records in transforming the employee experience
Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working
Excellent English and written communication skills including the ability to deliver clear and articulate presentations and communications
Demonstrated analytical abilities, root cause analyses and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing tasks and priorities
Ability to build networking with various stakeholders, such as employees, HR partners, management groups, business leader, working groups etc.
Experience coordinating and supporting projects
