Area Sales Manager - Asset Finance

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the Dublin market.
This is a commercially focused, field-based role for a high-energy sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and a genuine interest in supporting Irish SMEs with flexible funding solutions.

The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you will originate, develop, and close new asset finance opportunities with SME customers across Dublin.
You will operate autonomously in the market, targeting SME decision-makers and using dealer and introducer relationships as routes to market to generate and convert opportunities.
This role suits someone who thrives on opening doors, building trusted commercial relationships, and delivering against ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
Win and grow SME customers using dealer and introducer relationships to generate and convert asset finance opportunities.
Develop and execute a regional business development strategy focused on SME acquisition and growth.
Proactively identify, target, and secure new SME relationships across the Dublin region.
Build long-term partnerships with SME owners, MDs, and Finance Directors.
Maximise value from existing SME relationships through repeat business and referrals.
Maintain strong working relationships with dealers and introducers as routes to market.
Promote a high-quality customer experience and support innovative onboarding approaches.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging SME funding needs.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular performance and progress updates.
Deliver against agreed sales, volume, and profitability targets.
Candidate Profile
Proven success in B2B sales or business development within asset finance, leasing, hire purchase, or SME finance.
Demonstrable hunter mentality with a track record of winning new SME customers.
Strong understanding of SME funding requirements and decision-making processes.
Commercially astute with strong negotiation and closing capability.
Self-motivated, highly organised, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
Confident communicator capable of engaging senior SME stakeholders.

Proven ability to close complex, value-driven transactions.
APA / QFA qualification desirable.
