Social Care Leader / Designated Centre Administrator

Candidates Should
Minimum Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Nursing or Social Work
3 years' experience working with people with an intellectual disability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
Ability to manage, motivate and supervise staff
Understanding of and commitment to Personal Lifestyle Planning
Proactive and team oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative
Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills
Full clean driving licence and own vehicle
Availability to work evenings and weekend shifts and be on call as required
Experience working with budgets and accounts
Knowledge of spreadsheets and database
Knowledge and appreciation of residential needs, social/recreational issues and training programmes for adults with intellectual disabilities
Management experience (1 to 3 years) desirable
